What is an IP address?
An IP address, or Internet Protocol, is a unique address that identifies a device on the internet or a local network, such as your computer or smartphone. It's similar to a home address that helps information find its way to the right place on the internet. Just as your home address is unique to your house, an IP address is unique to your device on the internet. Although devices on a network will all have a unique local IP address, they will generally all share the public IP address assigned by the Internet Service Provider (ISP).
What is a VPN?
A Virtual Private Network, or VPN, is a technology that allows you to create a secure and private connection over the internet. What is IPv6?
IPv6, or Internet Protocol version 6, is the most recent version of the Internet Protocol that is used to identify and locate devices on a network. It is the successor to IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4), which is the previous and more widely used version. IPv6 is intended to eventually replace IPv4 to address the decreasing number of available IPv4 IPs.
